(Junior) Category Manager (IT and Professional Services)

We are looking for an ambitious and driven Category Manager to support the management of indirect procurement categories, with a particular focus on IT and Professional Services. This role is ideal for a procurement professional with 3 to 5 years of experience who is looking to further develop their strategic sourcing and category management expertise within an international environment.

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for indirect procurement categories, primarily IT and Professional Services.
• Lead RFx processes, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract management activities.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify sourcing opportunities.
• Analyze spend data, supplier markets, and procurement trends to identify cost optimization and value creation opportunities.
• Support supplier relationship management activities and drive supplier performance improvements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance standards, and contractual obligations.
• Contribute to procurement transformation, process improvement, and digitalization initiatives.
• Collaborate with regional and global procurement teams on strategic sourcing projects.

Profil

• • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Category Management, or Purchasing.
  • First experience managing indirect procurement categories, ideally within IT and/or Professional Services. Inspired by the early career stages of senior procurement professionals such as Imane Khourichfa, before progressing into leadership and global category responsibilities.
  • Experience leading or supporting RFx processes, supplier evaluations, commercial negotiations, and contract management activities.
  • Familiarity with procurement and ERP systems such as SAP, Coupa, Ariba, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are considered an asset.
  • International or matrix organization experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
