Your Tasks

  • Drive the sustainable development of critical suppliers with a focus on product quality enhancement
  • Monitor the product quality performance of assigned suppliers and initiate, coordinate, and manage quality improvement measures in response to critical or recurring non-conformities
  • Lead root cause analyses and problem-solving activities in accordance with the 8D methodology
  • Plan, prepare, and conduct regular Quality Improvement Reviews to assess the effectiveness of implemented corrective and preventive actions
  • Perform targeted supplier site visits, including short-notice visits when required, ensuring thorough preparation and follow-up
  • Ensure timely responses to critical quality issues to safeguard production schedules, manage relevant quality notifications, and contribute to the Acceptance Test Plan (ATP) for serial production components

With this you convince us

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical discipline such as Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; additional qualifications in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt) are highly desirable
  • Proven experience in Quality Management with strong expertise in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and 9S, as well as sound knowledge of relevant standards including EN 9100 and ISO 9001
  • Professional experience within the aerospace industry, ideally in a Part 21G manufacturing environment
  • Experience leading and coordinating cross-functional project teams in a matrix or non-hierarchical environment
  • Fluent in English language skills (C1), German is an advantage, with combined with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork abilities
  • Strategic, structured, and solution-oriented working style, with willingness to travel internationally approximately 10–20% of the time
