Job description:

Work with a leading biotechnology organization in Visp, supporting upstream manufacturing operations in a highly regulated GMP environment. In this role, you will combine strong technical expertise in biotechnology and mammalian cell culture with leadership and operational support, working closely with production teams and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful manufacturing campaigns and continuous improvement.

Requirements:
  • Support the execution of production campaigns, ensuring safety, quality, compliance, and delivery objectives.
  • Act as a key contact for production-related issues, investigations, escalations, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, MSAT, and other cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges.
  • Support the technical readiness of manufacturing suites and equipment and the implementation of technical changes.
  • Drive continuous improvement, process standardization, and best practices across manufacturing operations.
  • Participate in risk assessments, inspections, compliance activities, and CAPA implementation.
  • Support Production Leaders and teams with communication, training, onboarding, coaching, and employee development.
Competences:
  • Strong biotechnology and/or biotechnical engineering background.
  • Strong experience in mammalian cell culture / upstream processing (USP).
  • Strong GMP knowledge and experience within regulated manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Understanding of business and financial processes.
  • Fluent/proficient English.
  • Structured, proactive, solution-oriented, and well-organized working style.
  • Collaborative, open-minded, agile, and motivated to drive improvements and new ideas.
