TECHNICIAN SUPPORT CAREER STREAM

The Technician Support role provides technical assistance across production, operations, maintenance, safety, and testing activities. The position involves working on electronic and mechanical systems, performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.

The role requires the ability to interpret technical documentation such as schematics, diagrams, and written instructions, and to apply established procedures for data analysis and problem-solving.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing lines and plant equipment.
  
• Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and replace defective components.
  
• Conduct troubleshooting activities using standard electronic tools and technical documentation (drawings, schematics, manuals, and specifications).
  
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance and repair logs.
  
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks.
  
• Collect, compile, and manipulate technical data using established formulas and procedures.
  
• Perform detailed technical calculations to support analysis and maintenance activities.
  
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process optimizations (depending on experience level)
