Senior Full-Stack Developer

Swisslinx is recruiting a Full-Stack Developer with strong experience on React and SQL for a market leading and prestigous financial services companyin the Zurich area.

• Develop features across a React/TypeScript front end, C#/.NET services and API, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Work with business users to understand requirements and design practical solutions.
• Build and improve SQL reporting and data processes using T-SQL and stored procedures.
• Support the application in production, investigate issues and contribute to reliable deployments and CI/CD processes.
• Help maintain the development tools and, when needed, support the IIS and Windows Server environment.

As part of a small and experienced team of develoeprs sat directly with the business, you will help develop and operate an in-house portfolio management platform used by business teams. This is a hands-on position covering the user interface, services and database, with the opportunity to work directly with the people who use the system.

This role calls for strong React experience and substantial hands-on SQL programming skills, alongside C#/.NET development. It offers an excellent salary, a stable working environment and long-term career prospects.

• Substantial professional software development experience (8-10 years experience)
• Strong hands-on React and TypeScript experience.
• Strong database programming experience with T-SQL or PL/SQL, including complex queries, stored procedures and performance optimisation. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL is particularly relevant to this platform.
• Practical C#/.NET development experience (or other programming languages)
• Experience deploying and supporting production applications.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating with technical colleagues and business stakeholders.
• Strong spoken and written English.
• A Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
